2026 Theme: Fill Your Life with Light and Truth

The BYU Life After Divorce Conference aims to help you move forward with faith and hope after experiencing divorce. Classes* may include topics such as:

  • validating your experiences and turning your thoughts toward healing
  • combating loneliness
  • essential communication
  • healthy boundaries
  • strengthening relationships with family
  • developing a support system and expanding your social circle
  • adopting new routines and activities that encourage personal growth
  • learning when and how to seek a therapist's help for coping with difficult emotions, and grief
  • divorce transitions and how to navigate them
  • strengthening personal faith and testimony
  • finding peace within through Christ

All sessions focus on giving guidance for your unique journey. You will gain clarity on your continued role in the Lord's gospel and an understanding that your contributions are valuable and needed. We hope your time at the conference will provide you with the support you need, help you connect with others who understand your experiences, and give you insights to progress with confidence with a focus on Christ, who is our light and guide as we sometimes navigate difficult and unfamiliar roads.

Conference content is planned for adults (21 and older) who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; however, those of all faiths are welcome to attend.
