Thursday Evening Early Workshops
We are thrilled to introduce our Thursday evening workshops as part of this year's conference. Workshops are only for registered attendees (one day or both days), and are an additional cost on top of the conference registration fee ($20).

Writing Workshop: Recording the Fingerprints of God in Your Life
Instructor: Krista Isaacson
Where was God in the moments when life felt darkest? Sometimes we recognize His presence only when we look back. In this interactive grief-writing workshop, we’ll use simple, sensory writing prompts to revisit a meaningful memory and explore its details—what we saw, heard, felt, and experienced. As we put those details on paper, we’ll look for the quiet fingerprints of God: the ways He was holding us, helping us, strengthening us, and loving us, even when we may not have recognized Him there.
No writing experience is necessary. Come with a memory, a willing heart, and something to write with. Together, we’ll discover how recording our stories can help us make meaning of what we’ve lived, honor both grief and growth, and recognize God in the details of our lives.

Practical Skills for Navigating Conflict in Families
Instructor: Siope Kinikini
Conflict is inevitable, but contention is a choice. We won’t always agree, and that’s okay, but how we choose to respond matters. As President Dallin H. Oaks taught, “Followers of Christ should be examples of civility. We should love all people, be good listeners, and show concern for their sincere beliefs.” As we develop respect and humility toward one another, we can reframe disagreements as opportunities for deeper understanding and growth and build unity, even when we don't agree.
What tools and strategies help turn conflict into constructive conversation? How does having a thoughtful conversation and listening with genuine concern and interest build bridges even when opinions differ? What examples from the Savior’s life can show us how to strengthen unity in families, workplaces and communities?

Planning Your Life, Designing Your Path
Instructor: Noelani Wayas
As we face new challenges and unexpected changes in our lives, Heavenly Father invites each of us to move forward with purpose, trusting that He will guide us. As we seek to understand our strengths and listen to the guiding influence of the Spirit, He will help us use them for good. When we approach life with intention, we see that our strengths and creativity are tools in His hands. Elder Craig C. Christensen encourages us, “Remember that your Heavenly Father knows all about you—your strengths and your weaknesses… He has placed you here, now—at the exact time and place where you can do the most good with the talents and gifts He has blessed you with.”
How can I recognize what my unique strengths, creativity and talents are? In what ways can the Lord help guide me to design or reshape my life during times of change as I make plans and decisions about my future? What small and simple actions can I take each day to move forward with faith and confidence?
